The National Association for the Practice of Anthropology (NAPA) offers the annual Student Achievement Awards to recognize undergraduate and graduate student contributions in practicing and applied anthropology.  


Winners receive $500 and papers are considered for publication in the Annals of Anthropological Practice. To find out more about eligibility, submission requirements, and additional details about the prizes, visit


Papers can be submitted via email to [log in to unmask] with the subject line “[LAST NAME], Undergraduate Student Achievement Award” or “[LAST NAME], Graduate Student Achievement Award.” The deadline to submit is September 15, 2022
