I hope you are having a fantastic summer. I would like to invite you to participate in a curated professional development experience we designed with you in mind. The Graduate School is offering one-credit hour courses this summer that will allow you to enhance your skills in two highly lucrative areas:

Summer Data Jam: Analyzing, Visualizing & Communicating for Maximum Impact 

(Co-sponsored with the Georgia State University Library)

Understand, decipher and communicate data to various audiences. Attend workshops on statistical software (e.g., SPSS, NVivo, R), data visualization and mapping, or preparing compelling presentations.

Writing S.O.S (Succeed Over the Summer)

Strengthen your academic writing skills, move past writer’s block, and gain momentum on writing projects. 




These second-half summer courses are curated by The Graduate School and include the following perks:

  • No additional cost to graduate assistants
  • 100% virtual with asynchronous and synchronous options
  • One-step registrationlet us handle the enrollment process for you
  • Zero impact on your grade point average (satisfactory/unsatisfactory mode)

Courses will begin on July 5 and I hope you’ll join us!  Be sure and register by June 30th.
