The U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy is hiring interns for the Summer 2022 High Performance Computing for Manufacturing (HPC4Mfg) program (See flyer). As an intern, you will perform research-level computational activities and gain a competitive edge as you apply your education, talent, and skills to research and development projects focused on high performance computing. The NIH HuBMAP Consortium is hiring for a virtual internship in biomedicine in Summer 2022. This virtual internship program provides a fantastic opportunity to build connections, add to your experience, and conduct vital research in the single cell community. TechTogether's Atlanta Chapter is hosting a virtual hackathon from January 28-30th, 2022 for people of marginalized genders of all ages (See flyer). This is an amazing opportunity for students to network with companies like Microsoft and Capital One, explore different career paths in tech, and learn new coding skills. The event is also 100% free to attend.

The Harvard-Amgen Scholars Program Summer 2022 application is now open, a ten-week faculty mentored residential summer research program for undergraduates in biotechnology. Through this program, a diverse cohort of undergraduates will have the opportunity to work in laboratories of faculty across the Harvard campus. In addition to research, the Scholars will participate in a number of intellectual, pre-professional development, and social activities throughout the program. Apply by Tuesday, February 1st, 2022.
Eligibility: current sophomores, juniors and non-graduating seniors who are U.S. Citizens, U.S. permanent residents, Students who’ve received DACA and who are authorized to work. Students with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.2 out of 4.0 scale, with serious interest in biotechnology and biomedical research. Prior research experience is not required.

Girls++ ACM-W chapter will host their first event of the Spring 2022 semester on Thursday, January 27th at 3:00pm in 25 Park Place, Room #755. Everyone is welcome.
