Hello graduate students!

Thanks to generous support from Georgia Humanities and the National Endowment for the Humanities, Georgia State’s Humanities Research Center (HRC) is seeking to hire a Graduate Research Assistant for the 2022 calendar year. We will also consider applicants who are only able to work for one semester (Spring ’22 or Fall ’22). Applicants should be enrolled in a masters or doctoral degree program in one of the humanities disciplines. The GRA stipend will $3000 per semester plus a tuition waiver.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with planning and running hybrid (in-person and livestreamed) public lectures
• Promotion and marketing of HRC events
• Updating and redesigning the HRC website
• Creating publicity materials
• Maintaining the HRC email list

Skills sought:

• Familiarity with WordPress, Excel, and MailChimp
• Excellent writing and communication skills
