Dear Grad Students,
We noticed that some of our grad students have registered for MORE THAN THREE 6000/8000-level classroom taught courses for Spring 2022. As we all know that graduate courses require a huge time
commitment, doing more than 3 graduate courses and doing GTA/GRA/Grader duties simultaneously is not feasible. We believe that students who take more than 3 graduate courses may not be able to effectively conduct the duties. Currently, we are assigning assistantships
for Spring 2022. If you do not drop the number of courses to 3 by December 16, 2021, you will be added to the low priority list for GTA assignment, and if you have already received a GTA assignment, your assignment may be revoked.
Some of our newly admitted students are not able to register any courses, this will cause problems especially for international students. Hope you can understand and be cooperative.
