We are excited to welcome Bill Mantegna (Software Engineer), Enrique Osuna (Software Engineer), and Dave Machado (Production Engineer). We encourage you to attend this event as this is a great opportunity to ask any direct questions and gain better insight into career opportunities.      *   Sunday 10/31 @ 2 - 4 PM Mock Interviews: Join us for our first mock interview prep session this week! Our club leaders, Japnit and Ikenna, will walk through a demo interview, providing insight on what to expect and tips for improving performance. Afterward, everyone will get a chance to practice interview-level questions in pairs. (Knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms is required, but anyone can come to spectate the interviews!).

  *   CS-GSA is hosting their 11th Talk series featuring renowned MIT Professor and researcher Dr. Justin Solomon on Thursday, November 4th at 11 AM (See flyer<https://documentcloud.adobe.com/link/track?uri=urn:aaid:scds:US:43fef935-808c-4091-9307-c94c391583f7>). Dr. Justin Solomon is an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT, where he studies problems in shape analysis, machine learning, and graphics from a geometric perspective. He received a Ph.D. in computer science from Stanford University, where he was also a lecturer for courses in graphics, differential geometry, and numerical methods. Subsequently, he served as an NSF Mathematical Sciences Postdoctoral Fellow at Princeton's Program in Applied and Computational Mathematics. Before his graduate studies, he was a member of Pixar's Tools Research group. He is going to talk about his research, its importance, and opportunities in this 1-hour talk.

  *   Cybersecurity Club is hosting guest speaker Kevin Stadmeyer (Google cybersecurity) on Wednesday, October 27th from 4-5 PM in College of Arts and Sciences Lecture Hall 223.

  *   On Thursday, October 28, Girls Who Code at GSU will be holding a Networking 101 workshop that will be hosted by Maya Wilson, the graduate teaching assistant for Digital Learners to Leaders (See flyer<https://documentcloud.adobe.com/link/track?uri=urn:aaid:scds:US:e42bba17-48c4-4ed2-9494-1638dfed882c>). The meeting will be held virtually via Google Meet from 4:00-5:00pm EST.

     *   Attendees will learn how to grow their LinkedIn network, reach out to recruiters, and perform well in a 15-minute interview!

This meeting, as well as subsequent meetings, will be held by Sanjana Bhat, a member of the organization's leadership board.
