We’d love your help to spread the word about the following ORISE Fellowship Opportunities related to training and education!

 

The Division of Scientific Education and Professional Development’s (DSEPD) Education and Training Services Branch (ETSB) is looking to fill two ORISE fellow positions. One as a Quality Training Development Fellowship and the other as a Learning Design and Education Fellowship. Fellows will participate in training projects and activities, and the remainder of each fellow’s work and training will depend on their interests, goals, experience, and skills.

Title: Quality Training Development Fellowship

This fellow will work with the ETSB Branch Chief and focus on two initiatives to improve the quality of training developed for the public health workforce through the use of CDC’s Quality Training Standards and the other is to improve relationships, outreach, and connection with national workforce training partners.

Title: CDC Learning Design and Education Fellowship

This fellow will train with the Learning Design and Fellowship Education Team Lead and fellowship educators to plan and implement quality trainings. The Learning Design and Fellowship Education Team within ETSB develops competency-based fellowship curricula and builds capacity to create and deliver quality trainings that enhance the skills of the public health workforce. Our team helps design curriculum to support experiential learning for several fellowship programs in the division.

 

The Fellow will participate in projects and activities that support training and learning strategy for division fellowships. They will have the opportunity to build the following public health core competency domains:
