Position Title: Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant (GR/TA) –
Work Schedule and Duration of Appointment: The WomenLead GA appointment will start at the beginning of the Fall 2021
semester (scheduled to begin on August 23, 2021) and may continue into Spring and Summer semesters. It is anticipated that the GA will work approximately 12 - 16 hours per week and the work schedule will be established at the time of employment. Preference
given to those available on Tuesdays from 3:00 – 7:30 PM.
Compensation: Tuition Waiver and Monthly Stipend
WomenLead is seeking students to support instruction and evaluation of the WomenLead courses including:
Logistical support for the classes each week
Research and design of course materials - readings, exercises, visual aids
Support the delivery platforms – iCollege, Zoom, conference software, etc.
Develop tools and design materials for measuring success
Support special projects – e.g., College-to-Career
Other duties include:
Attend and participate in team
meetings (virtual attendance is supported).
Preferred Competencies and Qualifications
Competency with instructional technology, including iCollege
Proficiency in Microsoft Power Point
Attention to detail and excellent organization skills.
Able to work with a team and independently to achieve work deliverables in a set timeframe.
Must possess effective oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
High standards of ethics and integrity.
