Graduate Wellness Series:

The Resilient Scholar

Presented virtually by Dr. Gabriel Kuperminc, Dr. Jeana Griffith, Ph.D. candidate Kirsten Sylvester

Now more than ever, our mental and emotional well-being must remain the top priority. Please join us for an important conversation about building resilience into your academic journey, especially during these uncertain and challenging times. Not being able to bounce back from stressful situations can take its toll on your overall well-being and, ultimately, impede your ability to succeed in your graduate program.

Join the conversation as experts from GSU’s Department of Psychology, the Counseling Center, and the Office of Graduate Services discuss the benefits of becoming a resilient scholar.

Wednesday, August 19, 2020
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

Each semester, the Office of Graduate Services collaborates with university departments, thought leaders, and subject matter experts to bring Arts and Sciences graduate students event series to inform and inspire.

All Fall 2020 events will be held virtually. Register and attend from the comfort of your own home, office, or safe space. If you're unable to attend but would like to receive an emailed recording of an event, please register. The Office of Graduate Services will send you an email after the event with the recording.

Though the Office of Graduate Services staff is working off-site, we are still available and committed to providing the same level of service and availability as we help you navigate your graduate school journey. You can reach us remotely during our regular office hours of 8:30 AM to 5:15 PM. Here's how.

The Office of Graduate Services works in partnership with students, their departments, and the college as a whole to provide resources that guide academic and personal wellness throughout students’ graduate school journeys.
