I have received a number of questions regarding whether or not there is a process for GTAs in need of employment-related accommodations. The Graduate School is planning to send targeted communications to graduate assistants detailing their options, but while
we await those communications, please share with your graduate assistants that they have the ability to request accommodations following the same protocol that is available to faculty and staff through Human Resources. The protocol is outlined in the FAQ

The deadline for requesting accommodations is June 30. Let me know if you'd like to discuss this process in greater detail, or if you're getting a large number of students expressing concern and you just want to talk through options.
