         [Second Request] The CS Department needs your help! 

o    Our Department is currently conducting a national search for a new department chair and your input as a computer science major is invaluable. Please consider attending tomorrow’s meeting with Dr. Zhi (Gerry) Tian, Professor of Electrical Engineering, George Mason University

  Thursday, February 27th from 12:30pm – 1:15pm in Conference Room 755 on the 7th floor of 25 Park Place (CS Department)

         Please come to the meeting with questions and/or concerns that you may have in a myriad of areas ranging from: (number of courses offered each semester, number of seats in those courses, content of courses, lab space, resources, career opportunities, etc)

         Girls++ - Guest Speakers from GitHub (Tommy Byrd – Software Engineer and Latoya East - Program Manager) will speak about the Life at GitHub & provide a GitHub Tutorial – Thursday, February 27th, 4:30pm - 6:00pm, Classroom South, Room 200 (see flyer) 

         Guest Speaker at Georgia Tech - Dr. Richard Tapia - “My Unlikely Journey from the Barrios of Los Angeles to the White House & the National Medal of Science”

         Interested in FinTech? - FinTech Academy is presenting a talk by FIS employees who have achieved success in the exciting, cutting-edge and lucrative FinTech fields.
