Melchizedek Mashiku, an undergraduate GSU computer science major with a focus in machine learning, will present an engaging workshop for students to get exposed to ML Engine, a Google Cloud service. The workshop will feature the fundamental concepts of machine learning with an emphasis on gaining a practical understanding and learning about applications. About the Speaker: Mashiku is a machine learning enthusiast. He is currently a Google Cloud student innovator. He has three years of NASA software engineering internship experience and is currently doing full stack engineering for Research Solutions at Georgia State University. He has experience with Amazon Web Services as well as Google Cloud Platform services. His research focus is on augmentation. This semester he won the CNT (Center for Neurotechnology) Hackathon.
