[cid:image001.jpg@01CE0A8D.E44581B0] Dear Colleagues, URSA has exciting news for faculty, investigators and research administrators. Our new Disclosure of Significant Financial Interest form will now be imported electronically into a database thereby eliminating the use of the [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> mailbox. A link to the new form can be found on URSA's Conflicts of Interest<http://www.gsu.edu/research/conflicts_of_interest.html> webpage under "Required Forms," and it is accessed via your GSU username and password. The previous disclosure form was created last summer to help the GSU research community comply with the Public Health Service's (PHS) revised regulations on "Responsibility of Applicants for Promoting Objectivity in Research for which PHS Funding is Sought." After receiving feedback from the research community, we reviewed the form and have revised it as an electronic version. The new electronic disclosure form will be used for annual disclosures, sponsored projects and all related updates. The new form offers prompts to help guide you through the disclosure process. Data from all previous disclosures has been transferred into the electronic system. If you completed a Disclosure of Significant Financial Interest form previously, you DO NOT need to resubmit the form into the new system. Please contact URSA at 404-413-3500 with any questions regarding the new electronic disclosure form. Sincerely, Brenda Chapman, J.D.
