not be checked Christmas and New Year’s Day, since these are official holidays.
If you are submitting a grant proposal due in December or early January, it is advised that you submit the proposal package to your OSP officer prior to leaving on winter break to avoid any delays in processing. If this is not possible, submit the proposal
package to the email address above at least 48 hours (2-business days) prior to the deadline date to allow adequate time for review prior to submission. OSP staff will not be working on campus and will not have access to an authorized signatory. Proposal submissions
received during the break must be able to be submitted electronically without the necessity of a physical authorized signature.
Special notice: It is imperative that COI disclosures for any applications to be submitted during the break are sent to
[log in to unmask] before Dec. 21, 2012 to allow time for verification. OSP personnel will not have access to the COI tracking during the break, so this must be done ahead of time. Per GSU’s COI
policy, proposals without the proper COI disclosures or waiver will not be submitted.
GSU parking availability:
Employees will be able to use M deck and T deck (SunTrust) as options for parking from Dec. 22, 2012 – Jan. 6, 2013. M deck will be open access. T deck is accessible during business hours at the Auburn Avenue entrance. After hours and on weekends, access is
available via Equitable Place. You must have your GSU ID or GSU parking permit available to park.
Research compliance and safety:
Laboratory Safety: If you have a laboratory safety emergency, please call the GSU Police Department at 404-413-3333.
GSU police will continue to patrol campus during the holiday break. You can request a police escort 24 hours a day by calling 404-413-2100.
