Julie focuses on assisting life science companies secure federal SBIR/STTR dollars. In the past five years, she has assisted with more than a 100 applications.

 “SBIR/STTR 101“

Each year the federal government awards over $2 billion to small high-technologybusinesses for innovative research that leads to commercialization of new products. These awards are often granted to university spin-outs for translational research.  This presentation will cover the basics of SBIR/STTR funding, and how to use these funds as seed for funding for a university spin-out.
