[Description: News from the Offi] From the Office of the Associate Vice President for Research and the Dean of Libraries Dear Faculty, Georgia State University has just purchased a one-year institutional membership with Hindawi Publishing Corporation<http://www.hindawi.com> that will allow faculty and student researchers the option to publish their research in open access format without paying article processing charges. This offer is available now and ends June 14, 2013. Hindawi publishes more than 300 Open Access journals covering a wide range of academic disciplines. All articles in Hindawi journals are open access and distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution License, which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited. The majority of Hindawi's journals are included in one or more of the leading abstracting and indexing databases, including Web of Science, PubMed, MathSciNet, Biological Abstracts, and SciFinder Scholar. As a part of GSU's membership agreement, Hindawi will waive processing charges for any manuscript with a GSU lead author. We hope this membership will give you another avenue to publish research and increase visibility of the innovative research taking place on campus.
