The following is the Georgia State University Police Departments Daily Crime and Fire Report summary from 7:00 a.m. January 25, 2012 through 7:00 a.m. January 26, 2012.

Arrests
01/25/12
5 Points Garage
12-0063      Officers arrested a Non-GSU individual for Entering Auto, Possession-Intent to Distribute Marijuana and Obstruction of Police. At 2:15 p.m. officers observed two individuals loitering around vehicles and attempted to make contact with the individuals. They ran from the area and officers apprehended one of the suspects. Officers also observed a vehicle had been broken into. When officers apprehended the suspect he was in possession of marijuana and several small plastic baggies. He was arrested, processed and transported to Fulton County Jail.

12-0064      A report was filed for Theft of Lost or Mislaid Property. The complainant, a GSU student stated, at 4:45 p.m. she left her purse containing various items unattended and when she returned at 5:01 p.m. she noticed it was missing. The case is being handled by Investigations.

General Classroom Building
12-0065      A report was filed for Robbery by Sudden Snatching. The complainant, a GSU student stated, at 8:49 p.m. an unknown individual approached her and snatched her cellular phone out of her hand. There were no injuries reported. The case is being handled by Investigations.
