Hi all,

I know this transition to the upgraded spectrum financial system AND Adp has
everyone pulling their hair out and we're sorry. I am sending you a couple
of things that I hope will make your life easier. First, is a summary of the
ways the new budget in the new financial system is different from the old.
Second, is a step by step way to produce your own budget reports for your
sponsored projects. I'm happy to say that it is really easy. First, because
it is webbased and you use your userid to sign on. Second, the report is a
pdf file, and thus can be saved like any other file. Of course, many of you
rely on your business managers to get you these reports but if you want to
look at your expenditures yourself you now have the capability.

Third, is an example of a budget report with the changes highlighted on it
from those used to looking at the a report from Spectrum.
