The following is the Georgia State University Police Department Daily Crime and Fire Report summary from 7:00 a.m. March 10, 2015 through 7:00 a.m. March 11, 2015.

Arrest: 03/10/2015

E Parking Lot
15-0189- A GSU student reported that he was robbed in E Parking Lot by two males on 02/22/2015. After the case had been turned over to the Investigations Division, one of the suspects was apprehended in the area of the incident by Day Watch officers. The suspects was interviewed, placed under arrest and was later transported to jail without further incident.

Auburn Avenue
15-0240- GSU Crime Suppression team were patrolling the area of Auburn Avenue and Bell Street when they noticed an individual that they had a history of making contact with. The individual was sitting behind the steering wheel of a parked vehicle and he was believed to be an unlicensed driver. When the officers made contact with the offender there was a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. The officer later found marijuana tucked in the offenders pants. The offender was placed under arrest and transported to jail without further incident.

Turner Field Parking
15-0240- A GSU Student reported that her parking decal was stolen while her unsecured vehicle was parked at the location. The case was turned over to the Investigations Division.

Peachtree Center Avenue
15-0241- A GSU student reported that someone snatched her phone while she walking down the street. She stated that a white male pushed her into a wall and attempted to snatch her bag away from her and was able to get away with her cell phone. A description of the offender was given to officers who later were involved in a foot pursuit with the offender, but were unable to detain him. The case was turned over to the Investigations Division.
