Allen,

I sent out an email about this to all faculty today. Did you not receive it? Let me know because you should have.

Anyway, they are due October 31st for all conferences to be held in FY2016 - now until June 30, 2016. The timing for proposals is a little unusual this year as we move from a rolling deadline to a scheduled deadline for these proposals.

sincerely,

Kelly

Dear Georgia State faculty,

This is a reminder that we have changed the manner that our internal Conference Grant program proposals are accepted for review. The specific internal grant proposals are no longer accepted on a rolling deadline, but will be accepted by a single deadline and reviewed together annually. The Call for Proposals for internal Conference Grant Program can be found on the Home page in the Research Portal and on the Internal Grants Program website at http://ursa.research.gsu.edu/ursa/funding/funding-opportunities/internal-grant-program/. Please note that this year we have split the Scholarly Support grant mechanism into two versions for pre-tenured and tenured faculty. The Research Initiation grant mechanism has not been changed.

For the current fiscal year, ALL Conference grant proposals are due by no later than October 31, 2015. That includes grant proposals for conferences that are scheduled to occur any time between now and June 30, 2016. We will not accept proposals for Conference grant awards after October 31, 2015 for the current fiscal year.

Again, all internal Conference grant proposals for conferences to be held in FY2016 are to be submitted online through the Internal Grants section of the Research Portal with full approval by the PI's department chair (approval is also done through the Portal) by October 31, 2015.

Inquiries may be directed to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> or 404-413-5475. If you have problems with accessing the Research Portal of submitting an internal grant proposal, contact [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.
