[News from the Offi]
Dear Georgia State Researchers,
Please keep in mind that Georgia State University has specific procedural guidelines that should be followed when applying for a limited submission funding opportunity (a funding opportunity where the number of applications that can be submitted from an institution is restricted).
It is the PI's responsibility to identify whether the funding opportunity is considered a limited submission and to alert the URSA office of interest in applying at least eight weeks prior to the sponsor's deadline for proposal submissions.
If you wish to apply for a limited submission funding opportunity, you should submit a note of interest to the URSA office ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>) including the PI's name, sponsoring agency, and a link to the specific URL for the funding opportunity. Failure to send this notification may result in disqualification of the applicant for that grant competition.
In cases where there are more parties interested in applying than there are submission slots available, the URSA office will engage an internal competition for the allowed submission slots.
For more details about how limited submissions are handled at Georgia State, visit the URSA Limited Submissions<http://ursa.research.gsu.edu/ursa/funding/funding-opportunities/limited-submissions/> webpage.
