[cid:image001.png@01D1DC1E.229429C0]Georgia State research faculty,

This is a reminder that internal proposals for CDC-GSU Seed Grants are due Friday, July 22nd by 5 pm. Proposals should be submitted through the Research Portal<http://research.gsuapps.com/> under the Internal Grants menu. The Call for Proposals can be found on the Internal Grants Program webpage<http://ursa.research.gsu.edu/ursa/funding/funding-opportunities/internal-grant-program/> of the URSA website.

As specified in the Call for Proposals, funding for this program supports social and behavioral science research within the field of public health. Proposed projects must align with initiatives identified by CDC and Georgia State with the objective of achieving measurable impact quickly in targeted areas. These initiatives typically address public health priorities with large-scale impact on health and with known, effective strategies to address them. Therefore, principal investigators must propose research that has the potential to yield results that will have a high impact in targeted areas. In addition, proposals must be based on a clearly defined collaboration between CDC and Georgia State scientists.

Questions about this internal grant mechanism may be addressed to Dr. Kelly Stout<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.
