CyberCorps: Scholarship for Service Recipients Participate in 2023 Job Fair

National Harbor, MD - CYBERCORPS(r) Scholarship for Service (SFS) Student's recipients and faculty from Georgia State University participated in the CYBERCORPS(r) Scholarship for Service (SFS) 2023 Job Fair Jan 11-13, 2023.
The event gave students a chance to explore the wide variety of Cybersecurity career paths being presented at this year's job fair and the opportunity to interview with more than 120 government agencies. It also served as an arena for fostering collaboration among SFS alumni to broaden their personal and professional network.

INSPIRE Center is NOW accepting applications for the following scholarships:
CyberCorps(r): Scholarship for Service (SFS) for 2023-2024.
This program will support up to three years for undergraduate and graduate education.
Students selected will receive a full scholarship including the following benefits:

  *   Full cost of tuition and education related fees (excluding meal plans, housing, and parking)
  *   Stipend of $25,000 for undergrad students and $34,000 for graduate students.
  *   Professional allowance of $6,000 per academic year for job fairs and other travel, and professional development.
  *   Summer internships, typically paid, with a government organization
  *   Begin security clearance processing while being a student

Department of Defense (DoD) Cyber Scholarship Program (CySP) for 2023-2024.
This program is a nationally competitive scholarship. Students selected as Cyber Scholars will receive a full scholarship including the following benefits:

  *   Full cost of tuition
  *   Required fees (including health care)
  *   Books (for required courses only)
  *   Stipend of $27,000 for undergraduate students and $32,000 for graduate (Master's/PhD) students.
  *   Internship opportunities
  *   Guaranteed employment with a DoD agency upon graduation (contingent upon eligibility to obtain a clearance)
  *   Begin security clearance processing while being a student

Looking for an Undergraduate Research Position - Spring 2023!!
INSPIRE Center is NOW accepting applications:
We have two open positions for undergraduate researcher.
The pay is $1,000 per month for Spring semester. The position may continue until August 2023, depending on performance and budgetary approval.
Please note that Dr. Takabi will be interested in the following metrics in making his final selection of two students:

  *   Have you taken and performed well in cybersecurity related courses?
  *   Are you interested in research in cybersecurity and privacy?
  *   Have you worked on a team before and been responsible for submitting work to your team by a deadline?
