Hello CSc majors,
Please see the important announcement below from CS faculty member, Dr. Xiaolin Hu.

--------------------------
Dear CS students:

The Computer Science Department Poster and Demo Day is a bi-annual event (Spring and Fall) that provides an opportunity for CS students (both undergrads and graduate students) to present and demonstrate their latest research and development work. The 2018 Fall CS Poster & Demo Day will take place on Friday November 30th 2018, from 1-3pm at the College of Law conference center.

Come to see the many exciting projects from various groups at the computer science department. The event is sponsored by the Georgia State University Department of Computer Science, ACM Student Chapter, Girls++, CS Club and IEEE. More details about the event can be found at https://grid.cs.gsu.edu/xhu/CSPoster&DemoDay/<https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgrid.cs.gsu.edu%2Fxhu%2FCSPoster%26DemoDay%2F&data=02%7C01%7Cjhayes14%40GSU.EDU%7Cf6f43c4a11ab48e3c51108d6352ec2f5%7C515ad73d8d5e4169895c9789dc742a70%7C0%7C0%7C636754872469844618&sdata=7FE%2BXZqac%2B7wis9Whl0tix%2BCME9uLfrvrIsMaG%2BJAG0%3D&reserved=0>

This is a great opportunity to show your work and see what other students are up to. Snacks and drinks will be provided. The event will feature a poster/demo competition based on faculty's evaluation and vote during the event. The best posters/demos will be recognized and awarded.

Please participate in this event by submitting posters/demos or attending the event to interact with others (see flyer below). Past events have received very positive feedback from students. We look forward to seeing you in the event.
