IT INTERNSHIP AT TERRY COLEMAN FOR LABOR COMMISSIONER
The Communications Department is tasked with helping the Terry Coleman
compete in the Information Age through the development of online
capabilities that will expand political and financial resources,
impact, and effectiveness.
Specific offerings will include the creation of new campaign website,
including many interactive opportunities for members, donors and
voters to get involved. The department also produces web ads,
informational online newsletters and a running weblog of state and
local politics, which the interns may be asked to contribute to.
Duties: The Communications Department is seeking a hard-working,
motivated student who is interested in: Politics, New Media, Online
Marketing, and Web Development. Our intern will be responsible for
building and maintaining a website for Terry Coleman for LAbor
Commissioner, as well as maintaining IT throughout the campaign. The
intern will play a vital role in the brainstorming, design,
development, and the implementation of all online communications.
While this is an unpaid internship, the position does offer academic
credit and is an amazing opportunity for anyone interested in brining
innovation to campaign politics.
