Undergraduate Research Opportunities:

         CCT REU: Interdisciplinary Research Experience in Computational Sciences

o    The LSU Center for Computation & Technology<https://www.cct.lsu.edu/>, (CCT), will host a virtual ten week Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program, where students work collaboratively on a wide variety of computational science projects.

  Each student receives a stipend of $8,000.

Hack-a-thons:

         TechTogether Atlanta (February 26th - 28th, 2021)

o    An organization that aims to increase the gender-inclusivity of the hackathon community through running hackathons for people of marginalized genders across the country. TechTogether has already served 2,200+ people of marginalized genders from all around the world to learn more about tech and build exciting projects in just the span of a weekend. In addition to free access to workshops and activities, we also provide hackers with 24/7 access to mentorship during events.
