COMPSAC 2016: The 40th IEEE Computer Society International Conference on Computers, Software & Applications

The Poster symposium seeks to bring together students, faculty, and researchers working in computer software and applications and related fields. A Poster is a lightly reviewed, one-page article that may present new ideas or works in progress, or opinions that address any issue relevant to computer software and applications and related fields. We also welcome contributions that may have thought-provoking ideas based on theory, application, or development experience, and may have initial or proof of concept results. The presenter will have the interactive opportunity to discuss their research idea, methodology, and results with other peer researchers and receive useful guidance and feedback to refine their ideas or towards the completion of the research and potential initiation of research careers.

Authors are encouraged to submit summaries of their original work. Here is the submission email: [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>. The opportunity to briefly talk about the poster will be provided to the poster authors. All submissions must be written in English using a maximum of one page in 10-point font, using the IEEE conference proceedings format. Each submission should include the title of the paper, the name and affiliation of each author, a 150-word abstract, and up to 6 keywords.

Evaluation of submissions will be based on their originality, significance of potential contribution to the field, technical merit, presentation quality, and adherence to poster submission guidelines.

At least one of the authors of every accepted poster should register at a discounted rate to attend the conference and present his/her poster.

*       May 25, 2016   Deadline for submission
*       May 30, 2016 Decision notification
* June 5, 2016 Deadline for author registration
