o Friday 2/12 @ 2 - 4 pm / Conway's Game of Life:

We will learn how to create a game called Conway's game of life discovered by the renowned mathematician John Conway! This isn't your standard one or two-player game, but zero-player cellular automation utilizes a two-dimensional grid of square cells in each of which is either alive or dead. We will be covering how you can create your own simulation using Java! If you're curious to learn more about how the game works or the libraries we'll use to draw, check out the links below.

Information about the game: Beginner's Guide Game of Life<https://nam11.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.theguardian.com%2Fscience%2Falexs-adventures-in-numberland%2F2014%2Fdec%2F15%2Fthe-game-of-life-a-beginners-guide&data=04%7C01%7Cjhayes14%40gsu.edu%7C2eba8dc5f81c448ef3a608d8ccfe4c9e%7C515ad73d8d5e4169895c9789dc742a70%7C0%7C0%7C637484739885466283%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&sdata=FCk6r7xL4qab0QsivmOPBR%2F2Dt4daDfECmhfYIZ0GZI%3D&reserved=0>

Background: The Army's utilization of manned and unmanned vehicle platforms is steadily increasing. These systems play critical roles in the mobility and survivability of Army forces. While they offer great advances in capability, they are also vulnerable to cyber attacks that could disable the system and leave troops unable to communicate and coordinate. Given the diversity of the vehicles being used by the Army, along with the adversary force capabilities, successful cyber-attacks are all but inevitable. Therefore, these systems must be resilient enough to support the missions that rely on them
