     *   Sunday 10/3 @ 2 - 4 PM Mock Interviews: Join us for our first mock interview prep session this week! Our club leaders, Japnit and Ikenna, will walk through a demo interview, providing insight on what to expect and tips for improving performance. Afterward, everyone will get a chance to practice interview-level questions in pairs. (Knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms is required, but anyone can come to spectate the interviews!).

     *   Friday 10/8 @ 2 - 4 PM Git Workshop: Next Friday we will have our first official kickoff event for the club during the first half and Git/GitHub workshop during the other! We will be discussing this year’s club's motives and introduction to version control software. Git/GitHub is a great way to learn and practice version control and contribute to existing code while working in teams. These technical skills are extremely important while working in the industry. This workshop will be a building block for our adventure game event where you will learn how to contribute to a real open source project using Java. No prior knowledge or experience is needed as everyone is welcomed to pitch in!
