There have been a number of changes to health insurance requirements (particularly for international student) made by the USG this year. I'm attaching an FAQ they produced for some of the questions that are coming up. Feel free to share these with your international students.
Of note, any international student who is taking classes from their home country is exempt from the health insurance requirement. We will have to tag them in Banner in order for them to receive this exemption. We are asking new students to self-identify on the e-form we created, and ISSS has also developed an e-form for continuing students to self-identify. Its important that they fill out these forms so that we can get them coded correctly for the insurance waivers.
