Georgia State's New HPC Resource - DICE
Research Solutions is pleased to announce a launch of a new high performance 
computing system, DICE, for data intensive computing and analytics.  Based on 
Hadoop and Spark ecosystem, DICE supports a variety of domain specific secondary 
applications.  This cluster is a student exclusive resource that will facilitate and 
promote Data intensive computing training and research.   DICE features Intel 
Broadwell processors with 3.7 TFlops peak performance, 128 TB usable distributed 
storage based on HDFS, and 100Gbps Intelís Omni-Path interconnect.  This cluster is 
funded by Georgia Stateís Technology Fee grant 17-IST-107.   Please follow this link 
to request an account on DICE, and register for the workshop, Introduction to DICE, 
that will be hosted on November 29.
