The GSU chapter of the ACM presents

                 Distributed Content Delivery Systems
                  with Real Time Route Optimization

                    Marco Valero and Jay Robertson
                Internap Network Services Corporation

In today's environment, a poor online experience is a prescription for failure. Today's Internet users demand web sites and video streams that load quickly and without interruption. But with the global scale of the Internet, how do content providers deliver a better experience? Engineers from Internap, a best-in-class IT infrastructure service provider, will explain concepts around modern Internet content delivery systems, and discuss how real time route optimization, global server load balancing, and TCP acceleration can be combined to provide the ultimate online experience.

About the Speakers: Marco Valero received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Georgia State University. His expertise includes computer networking, network security, and network optimization. Jay Robertson received his B.S. degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and has more than 15 years of experience in software engineering, systems and network design, online streaming media, and Internet content delivery. Together, they help drive innovation for Internap's performance-optimized network service platform.
