Sent on behalf of Prof. Stefano Bregni
----------

Dear Colleague,

I kindly invite you to propose to your best students to participate to the 5th edition of the IEEE Communication Society (ComSoc) Student Competition "Communications Technology Changing the World". Nelson and I, respectively past and current IEEE ComSoc Vice President for Member and Global Activities, launched and coordinate this Program.

The Competition is open to graduate and undergraduate students, who are members of the IEEE Communications Society. Its purpose is to recognize students or teams of students who demonstrate the capacity to improve the lives of people, through the application of communication technology and the development of projects that meet the human needs of people.

The First Prize consists of $2000 + plaque and will be presented to
winner(s) at IEEE GLOBECOM 2017, Singapore. See all details at:
https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.comsoc.org%2Fcommunications-technology-changing-world&data=02%7C01%7Ccao%40gsu.edu%7Cdd01ab3761364e67f2a108d4dc85602a%7C515ad73d8d5e4169895c9789dc742a70%7C0%7C0%7C636375912781141905&sdata=g6ng7vehbZtq4kCJaKxvToo1DHZTbOXyRYejrEshJ70%3D&reserved=0

The deadline for submissions is 15th August!

The IEEE ComSoc Student Competition has been a great success since its first edition in 2013. We hope to receive many qualified submissions also this year.

Many thanks for your attention.

Best regards,
Stefano Bregni
