Hello MS & PhD Computer Science students,

There has been a change regarding the hiring and tuition waiver procedures for spring 2023. If you are offered a GRA position outside of the CS Department, your hiring department will be responsible for hiring you, adding you to their payroll and inputting your graduate tuition waiver. If your hiring manager is unaware of this new workflow, please forward them this email and ask that they reach out to me at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> for the updated policy from The Graduate School.

NOTE: If you are hired outside of the CS Department, you MUST submit an Outside Department Hire Form in OGMS, to obtain CS departmental authorization.  Without the authorization, you cannot be hired by an outside unit.
