About Us
The Georgia State University/Georgia Institute of Technology/Emory University Center for Translational Research in Neuroimaging and Data Science (TReNDS) is focused on developing advanced analytic approaches and neuroinformatics tools that leverage brain imaging data, with a goal of translating these approaches into biomarkers that help solve issues related to brain health and disease. Large-scale data sharing and multimodal data fusion techniques are the underpinnings of our approach. We develop state-of-the-art signal processing and web-based solutions to further this goal.

About the Project
The Collaborative Informatics and Neuroimaging Suite Toolkit for Anonymous Computation (COINSTAC) is software created to foster collaborative research, removing large barriers to traditional data-centric collaboration approaches. This software solves the problem of researchers wanting to collaborate but being unable to because of data sharing restrictions. COINSTAC enables groups of users to run common analyses on their own machines over their own datasets with ease. To learn more about the project, please see

Job Duties
As an Algorithm Developer, you will develop decentralized machine learning algorithms from scratch and publish papers in scientific journals. You will also implement existing algorithms as COINSTAC-compatible computations, working with frontend and backend developers to deliver a working solution. You will be using modern containerization tools such as Docker and programming languages such as Python, R, and MATLAB.
