Dear Anthropology faculty, graduate students, and staff,
I'm pleased to announce that at long last, we feel able to revive a longstanding tradition: the fall faculty/grad student/staff kick-off party! Here are the details:
Where: Home of Jeffrey Glover and Carrie Furman, 1041 Greencove Ave Atlanta, GA 30306
When: Saturday, August 27 from 5-8 pm
Who: Anthropology faculty, graduate students, staff and their families/significant others (children and partners are welcome)
What: Potluck celebration to reconnect and to get to know our new cohort! Lynda Bourne will be creating a Google potluck sign-up; please bring the dish of your choice to share and BYOB of your choice.
Other tips: The Glover/Furman home is in the Virginia Highland area and some of you may want to plan carpools. Street parking is available. The home has ample room outside for socializing; please plan to spend minimal time inside and/or to mask up while indoors.
Contact me or Dr. Glover with any questions. We look forward to seeing you there!
Jennifer Patico
Professor and Chair of Anthropology
