Subject: Hybrid meeting of the Graduate Student Coalition next Friday, Feb 3
Hi everyone,
We hope you’ve all had a great week! Based on the results of last week’s poll, the next meeting of the Graduate Student Coalition will be a hybrid meeting next Friday, February 3, at 2pm. This will be the Coalition's first meeting ever that's not strictly on Zoom. The locations are as follows:
* In-person: Room N318 in the GSU Library, which is located in Library North 3 near the link bridge to Library South. Masks are required.
* Online: https://gsumeetings.webex.com/gsumeetings/j.php?MTID=m5abbae2439d7b80e56288b0ff68f7144
Meeting number: 2623 451 8161
Meeting password: sMKGVy6XM87
You may notice that we have a Webex link next week instead of our typical Zoom link. This is because we worked last semester to reestablish the Graduate Student Alliance, which was a registered student organization that was active pre-Covid. Next week’s meeting will be a joint meeting of the Grad Student Coalition and the Graduate Student Alliance (the first one since its reestablishment), where we're inviting anyone from the former GSA to join our campaign for higher stipends.
The next meeting will be a continuation of our conversations in the Coalition last semester, particularly in the specific ways we want to develop our platform. But as always, anyone (whether inside or outside the union) is welcome to join the meeting, since we’ll have a recap at the beginning describing our efforts thus far. For anyone unable to attend, we will send meeting notes afterwards.
Please let us know if you have any questions before the meeting!
In solidarity,
The Graduate Student Coalition
