Networks Operations Engineer

Description of Duties:

This position is for a Network Operations Engineer responsible for supporting and managing Barracuda Networks cloud based web security flex service known as Barracuda Web Security Flex. Duties include but are not limited to:

·         Build and deploy new service machines at the co-location site

·         Monitor and manage service machines to ensure stability and uptime

·         Create and implement service maintenance procedures

·         Be available and willing to take on-call shifts

Desirable Skills Include:

·         Extensive knowledge of Linux (Debian and Redhat variants)

·         Knowledge of IP networking concepts

·         Experience with managing database servers

·         Experience with cloud based services including Amazon EC2

·         Experience with network monitoring tools such as Nagios

Requirements:

·         BS in a related engineering field or equivalent experience
