Please circulate the attached announcement to any interested parties.

The Clayton State University Information Technology Department is looking
to fill a tenure track CS position at the Assistant or Associate Professor
level. CSU's CS program is currently in its second year of operation and
has a focus in gaming design and implementation. The department, which
currently offers Bachelors Degrees in Computer Science and Information
Technology has a strong teaching focus and a developing research
infrastructure, with a focus on undergraduate research.

The ideal candidate is a PhD in CS with a strong gaming focus both in
research and teaching.

Full consideration will be given to candidates who apply by Friday March
18th, 2011. However, this position will remain open until filled.

Interested parties can apply online with 1) a letter of application
summarizing the applicant’s qualifications, 2) a current curriculum vita,
3) a statement of teaching philosophy, 4) a statement of research interests
and 5) at least three letters of recommendation, one of which directly
addresses the candidate’s teaching abilities and one of which directly
addresses the candidate’s potential for future success in research. All
documents must be submitted in electronic format (PDF preferred) to the CSU
