Georgia State University Police Department
The following is a summary of Georgia State University Police reports
from 7:00 a.m. July 13, 2009 through 7:00 a.m. July 14, 2009.

Arrests
07/13/09
Upper Wall St.
09-0728	Officers arrested a Non-GSU individual for Fraud. At
1:40 p.m. officers observed the individual taking money from individuals
using a scheme involving bottle caps, foam balls and newspaper.  He was
arrested, processed, and transported to the City of Atlanta Jail. 

07/13/09
Woodruff Park
09-0729	Officers arrested two Non-GSU individuals. One was
arrested for Disorderly Conduct and the other individual was arrested on
an Agency Assist. At 3:15 p.m. officers responded to a fight call. A
G.C.I.C. check was conducted which confirmed an active warrant on one of
the individuals. The other individual refused to cooperate with
officers. The individual charged with Disorderly Conduct was arrested,
processed and transported to the City of Atlanta Jail and the individual
with an active warrant was also arrested, processed and transported to
Fulton County Jail.

07/13/09
Wall St.
09-0730	Officers arrested two Non-GSU individuals for Possession
of Marijuana Less then and Ounce.  One of the individuals was also
charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and for
Carrying a Concealed Weapon. At 5:04 p.m. officers observed the
individuals smoking a suspected marijuana cigarette. The green leafy
substance tested positive for marijuana. One of the individuals was also
in possession of a weapon. The individual charged with Possession of
Marijuana was arrested, processed and transported to the City of Atlanta
Jail. The individual arrested for marijuana and a weapon was arrested,
processed and transported to Fulton County Jail.
